Practical measuring tips from ORELITH Jewellery in Ruwi, Muscat. If you are unsure, send us your measurement on WhatsApp and our team will help.
Ring size
Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the base of the finger, mark where it meets, and measure that length in millimetres. This is the finger’s circumference.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, and measure the finger the ring will be worn on. Wide bands fit more snugly than thin ones, so go slightly larger for a wide band.
Easier still: bring a ring that fits, or send us a photo of it next to a ruler, and we will match the size.
Bracelet size
Measure around the wrist, just above the wrist bone, with a strip of paper or a soft tape. Add about 1 cm for a snug fit or about 2 cm for a looser fit.
Necklace length
Chain length decides where a necklace sits. These are typical lengths, so ask us about the pieces you like.
| Style | Length | Where it sits |
|---|---|---|
| Choker | 35–40 cm | At the base of the neck |
| Princess | 43–48 cm | Just below the collarbone |
| Matinee | 50–60 cm | Around the neckline of a shirt |
| Opera | 70–90 cm | Long; can be worn doubled |
Earrings
Studs sit close to the earlobe and suit everyday wear. Drop earrings hang lower and add movement. Check the dimensions listed on each product page, and try the virtual try-on where it is offered.
